Owner reviews: Hanimex MC 24 mm f/ 2.8

Period of use: 2 days

Strengths:

Excellent Mico contrast - Colour saturation should not be this good at this price. It is superb.

Weaknesses:

None as far as I can tell. I have not shot wide open as yet and will post my impressions when I do.

Comments:

This lens shot at f11 on a Nikon D800E is remarkable. I the 24-70mm 2.8G and that is what I can comapre it to. Sharp from edge to edge with exellent mico contrast and very pleasing color rendition. I have recently got into vintage lenses and am having lot's of fun with them and also getting some very nice surprises. This Hanimex is no exeption. I think I paid $37.00 for it. Well worth it. Great for travel with a large DSLR like the D800E
