The Olympus Om-System Zuiko Auto-T 85 mm f/ 2 is a fast medium telephoto lens for 35ммSLR Olympus Om cameras.
It is a good portrait lens.
As well as many other Olympus Om lenses, the Olympus Om-System Zuiko Auto-T 85 mm f/ 2 is the lightest and the most compact among 85 mm lenses.
It generates sharp, but very flexible picture from wide open, beautiful bokeh, rather high contrast.
The Olympus Om-System 85 mm f/ 2 is well resistant both to side and backlight, but a hood is strongly recommended, especially proprietary of Olympus - specially designed for this lens.
It is the Olympus Om-System Zuiko Auto-T 85 mm f/ 2 that first used a floating element in the group for telephoto lenses
There were three versions of this lens. The early version features 6 elements in 4 groups, the second and the third - 5 elements in 4 groups (see the Picture).
