The Canon EF 20 mm f/ 2.8 USM is a super wide-angle lens for Canon EOS film and digital cameras.

It is rather sharp at f/2.8. And it is very sharp from f/4 onwards.
A built-in ring-type ultra-sonic motor (USM) makes focusing fast and silent. Focusing is internal. Manual focusing can be switched on at any time by turning the focus ring. The font part of the Canon EF 20mm f/2 USM does not rotate on focusing, which enables the use of special attachments, as well as gradient and polarizing filters.
The pictures generated with the lens feature a good color and contrast. The lens is resistant to back and side light. Drops in resolution on the edges are insignificant. Vignetting is notable at f/2.8, it decreases at f/ 4.
The Canon EF 20mm f/2.8 USM is useful for landscape, architecture, interior and genre photography. This is really a universal and convenient focal length. It is ideally fit for video shooting on modern SLR cameras.
