Additional information:

The Canon EF 35-80 mm f/ 4-5.6 PZ  is a  standard autofocus zoom lens  for 35 mm Canon   EF SLR cameras.

The PZ abbreviation  stands forPower Zoom.

The Canon EF 35-80 mm f/ 4-5.6 PZ  is rather rare, though once it sold as  a kit lens for Canon film SLR cameras.

The focal length control is motorized and realized with the two buttons on the lens frame. Later on this experiment was found to be a failure and the lens was discontinued.

Nevertheless, the Canon EF 35-80 mm f/ 4-5.6 PZ may be of interest and useful for those who shoot video with SRL cameras, as it enables fine and even zooming during video filming.

According to its optical characteristics, the lens is considered to be one of the best of the Canon EF 35-80 f/ 4-5.6  series (however, it uses the different optical scheme).
