Additional information:
The MC Soligor Tele-Auto 135 mm f/ 2.5 is a fast telephoto multi-coated prime lens for 35 mm SRL cameras popular in the 1970-80's.
The lens is equipped with a built-in hood.
It features a reliable metal build. It is very compact for the lens with such characteristics.
The lens is a bit faster as compared to standard 135mm f2.8 lenses, but at the same time its minimum focusing distance is a bit greater as well.
The Soligor Tele-Auto 135 mm f/ 2.5 forms a high quality image, delivering good resolution and contrast across the frame. It produces a beautiful out-of-focus foreground and background (bokeh). The image is very plastic at open apertures.
It is well resistant to back and side light, though it lacks for a built-in hood, especially in front and anterolateral lighting.
The MC Soligor Tele-Auto 135 mm f/ 2.5 is a good choice as a portrait lens. It is also suitable for shooting nature and fragments, as well as for artistic photography where shallow depth of field is required.
Via adapters it can be easily mounted on modern SRL and mirrorless cameras.
Manufactured by the Sun factory.
