The Nikon Nikkor 20 mm f/ 2.8 Ai-Sis a wide-angle non-autofocus prime lens. It is rather compact in size.

The optical scheme of the lens includes 12 elements in 9 groups. The optical elements are multicoated and are configured in a “floating element” design for CRC.

The Nikon Nikkor 20 mm f/ 2.8 Ai-S was first presented in 1984 as a substitute for the Nikkor 20/3.5 Ai-S. It has been produced up to now.
