The MC APO Telezenitar-M 135 mm f/ 2.8 is a apochromatic fast telephoto lens for 35 mm SLR cameras. It only came with the M42 screw mount. It is equipped with an automatic aperture driving mechanism.

Bayonet modifications did not come in batch quantities,

The lens was manufactured at the KMZ (S. A. Zverev Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant) It was designed in the early 1980's.

In 2012 the production was resumed at the KMZ.
