The database description of this lens says: "Soon the Nikon Nikkor AF-S 50 mm f/ 1.2 will go into production."

Where did this rumor come from? I haven't heard such a thing. I'm about to buy one of these lenses, but if an AF version is on the horizon, I might just wait.

Any more details would be greatly appreciated.
