For the whole last year, I've been
using exclusively wide-angle lenses
and with that gained experience I
returned to portrait photography.
Nowadays I rarely shot wide open, I
rather f/2.8 or f/2.0 at least. In my
experience, this lens has an
extraordinary performance, at f/2.8
will look fairly sharp, beautiful
bokeh, and a lot of character.
Intentionally I introduced a slight
blur to emulate the cinematic feel of
a 24 FPS, but with a static subject,
your photo will look completely sharp
at f/2.8.
