The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200 mm f/ 2.8 G IF ED VR is a constant lens speed telephoto zoom, equipped with an optical stabilizer, for Nikon F cameras. It features an ultrasonic motor, providing fast and quiet autofocusing.
The lens was designed to replace the AF-S Nikkor 80-200 mm f/ 2.8 D ED.
On full frame there is a visible drop in resolution at the frame borders and vignetting at open aperture. The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200 mm f/ 2.8 G IF ED VR lens is recommended to use on Nikon APS-C cameras. The second versionof the lens is suitable for full frame cameras.
Equivalent focal length for APS-C sensors: 105-300 mm.
