The Tamron SP 90 mm f/ 2.5 Adaptall-2 model 52B is a telephoto prime macro lens for 35 mm SLR cameras popular in the 1970-90s (via the interchangeable Adaptall-2 mount).
The lens is multicoated. It makes it possible to take 1:2 macro scale pictures without teleconverters.
The lens body is made of metal.. The aperture ring has half-stop markings (from f/2.8 to f/16).

Later on Tamron released another variant (model 52BB) of the lens with a different filter diameter and body design. The other characteristics are the same.
