The Tamron SP 28-135 mm f/ 4-4.5 Adaptall-2 model 28A  is a kit zoom lens for 35 mm SLR cameras popular in the 1970-90s (via the interchangeable Adaptall-2 mount).

The lens features a  push-pull design (focal length is changed by pushing or pulling the focus ring, in so doing the lens length is changing).  It is multicoated.

At a focal length of 28 mm the Tamron SP 28-135 mm f/ 4-4.5 Adaptall-2 model 28A is capable of taking 1:4 macro scale pictures, in so doing the minimum focusing distance is reduced to 0.26 m.
