Additional information:

The Nikon AF Nikkor 200 mm f/ 3.5 ED IF  is a telephoto prime lens for Nikon F cameras.

This is the second Nikon autofocus lens. It is equipped with a built-in autofocus drive motor  Operations in AF mode are available only on the Nikon F3AF camera.  On other Nikon cameras only manual mode operations are possible.

The AF Nikkor 200 mm f/ 3.5 ED IF lens did not get wide spread occurrence because of a high price and bulky design. For many years Nikon refused to install an AF drive motor into the lens, instead they installed it into cameras.
