The Minolta MD Rokkor-X 24-50mm f/4  is a standard zoom lens with constant lens speed  for 35 mm Minolta MD SLR cameras.

The lens came in 5 modifications. The first came in May, 1978. In May, 1981 it was followed by the variant with the same optical scheme, but without the Rokkor-X designation in the name. This lens was 5 grams lighter.In 1987 the autofocus  AF : 24-50/4 modification was released. It featured a new 7/7 optical scheme and a 55 mm filter diameter. In 1992  the AF 24-50/4 RS was released. It featured updated systems of focusing and depth of field.
