The Tokina AT-X 17 AF PRO 17 mm f/ 3.5  is an ultra wide-angle autofocus prime lens  for 35 mm SLR cameras of popular autofocus systems.

This is the second autofocus version of the lens. Earlier on from1993 to 1999 the analogous  version  without "PRO" tag, but with "Aspherical" designation was produced. It featured distance scale panel,  72 mm filter, 7 aperture blades, metal bayonet mount, ordinary AF/MF switch and weight of 406 g.
