The Sony 300mm f/2.8 (SAL-300F28G) is a high-quality professional fast telephoto lens, ideally suitable for sports and wild life photography. Its very high price corresponds to its very high quality. Three ED glass elements minimize distortions.
Two direct manual focus modes allow you to quickly switch from autofocus to manual focus by just turning the manual focus ring of the lens. The lens also feature a focus range selector, a focus hold (prefocus) switch, 4 focus hold buttons, and internal system of focusing - the lens barrel does not extend and the camera balance remains intact. The Sony SAL-300F28G 300 mm f/ 2.8 is compatible with Sony teleconverters.
