Additional information:

This is the third version of this lens.  It can be identified by the serial number which begins *83 (nominally  583xxxxx - 1985, 683xxxxx - 1986)

It has a 'ZOOMLOCK' feature that allows the focal length to be set at a fixed position.

Maximum Reproduction Ratio; 1:4 at 200mm

Maximum Barrel Diameter; 67.5mm

It differs from the similar lens without 'ZOOMLOCK' in that the front element does not rotate whilst focusing.

The first *64 version has a similar optical layout but has a different front end, longer zoom grip and is slightly longer and heavier.

The second *69 versions are similar in external appearence with a similar optical layout but are of different internal mechanical construction.
