The РО2-2 75mm f/2 is a USSR telephoto cinematography lens for KS50B (КС50Б) and AKS-1 (АКС-1) professional 35mm motion picture cameras.

Made by early KMZ in Leningrad. This is the early and hard to find first type with old logo and very small serial number.

Was produced from special purified German glass, from 1945 to 1948 (indemnity after WWII). Issue 1000 pcs. Due to the special complexity of manufacturing and grinding, the lens was removed from production. Has been limited in application. And it went only together with AKS-1 and KS50B.

The next common version is the РО2-2М.
