The Sigma 60mm F2.8 DN is a portrait prime lens for Micro 4/3 and Sony E digital mirrorless cameras. The lens is a part of Sigma's new Art line.
The telecentric optical design the lens comprises 8 elements in 6 groups, including one aspherical glass element to minimize coma (marked red) and one SLD element to minimize axial and lateral chromatic aberration (marked blue).. The system of internal focusing effectively corrects aberration fluctuation.
The lens employs a linear AF drive motor which moves the lens elements directly without the need for gears or the drive of other mechanical parts. This system provides accurate and silent autofocus, which makes the lens optimal for shooting video.
The bayonet is made of brass. The body is metal. The lens is available in two colors - black or silver - for both bayonets. Made in Japan.
