The Sigma A 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM is an ultra fast standard zoom lens for DSLR APS-C/DX format cameras only.

The optical scheme of the lens comprises 17 elements in 12 groups, including four glassmold aspherical elements and five SLD elements. A Super multi-layer coating is applied to minimize flare and ghosting and produce high contrast images even in back light.

An internal focusing and zooming system helps to maintain a consistent overall length. The front element does not rotate facilitating the use of polarizing filters.

A hyper sonic AF motor with FTM and optimized AF algorithm provides silent and fast focusing The lens is equipped with a 9-blade circular diaphragm. LH780-03 petal lens hood included. The lens has a year of manufacture on the barrel.

According to the test results (LensTip), its resolution is very high even when wide open and almost at any focal length. The fall of resolution reaches its maximum towards the borders, but no more than 20%.
