The SMC Pentax-A 50 mm f/ 2 is a high quality non-autofocus standard lens for cameras with the Pentax K bayonet mount.

It delivers a remarkable sharpness across the frame (it is sharp when wide open, and on stopping down sharpness increases). The lens features good manual focusing and smooth focus ring travel. Position A does not require ring rotation.

The SMC PENTAX-A 50 mm f/ 2 lens is compatible with the Pentax bayonet mount. It will function on any Pentax camera with the PENTAX-K bayonet mount. It will also function on all SLR autofocus and digital Pentax cameras in manual mode.
