Soligor Wide-Auto 28 mm f/ 2.8 (2) Lens

Soligor Wide-Auto 28mm f/2.8 (2) is wideangle prime lens for 35mm SLR cameras.

Pros:

• + Very well build, nice to touch
• + apertures in 1/2 steps from 2.8 to 11
• + nice colours (especially yellow is pronounced) and a nice look of the pictures
• + absolutely no distortion
• + not much vignetting

Cons:

• - sharpness in the corners and at the borders is not the strong point of the lens
• - chromatic aberrations
• - no correction for the close ranges
• - flares (exactly there in only one flare which is really disturbing)

For Nikon users: The modification from non-AI to AI made some trouble because the inner diameter of the aperture ring is too narrow and the ring had to be fined down a bit.
