The Minolta AF 70-210 mm f/ 4 is a high-quality AF telephoto zoom lens for SLR film and digital Minolta A / Sony A cameras.

The lens delivers good sharpness across the entire frame at all focal lengths. There are insignificant drops in resolution on the edges. The lens is equipped with a circular 7-blade aperture.

There is some vignetting visible at f/ 4.

The focus ring and the front filter rotate while autofocusing, which hampers the use of polarizing and gradient filters. Besides, the lens length changes while focusing.

The Minolta AF Zoom 70-210 mm f/ 4 features a very reasonable price-quality relationship.

Max. diameter: 72.5 mm

It has a slang nickname "beer can" because of outward similarity.
