Yashica made at least 3 versions of 500mm f8 mirror lenses but the rarest and best by far was the last one - the ML 500mm f8. Smaller, lighter and sharper than the its predecessor the 500mm f8 Reflex, the use of the ML coating has contributed to improved flare control and a big boost in contrast. It is, by repute, the best 500mm f8 mirror lens ever made.
