Tough. Just about indestructable. I have had this lens on a Nikkormat, that fell from near the top of a 8-foot ladder, and neither the camera or the lens blinked. Not a great lens for crucial work, but a great lens for many applications.
Weaknesses:
Its a light hog. With a minimum 3.5 aperture, its not great for available light shots indoors, but if you nail the focus, it will surprise you.
Comments:
A great tough carry along lens. Not bad for portraits, but outdoors, its great to have.
