Additional information:

The Takumar (bayonet) 135 mm f/ 2.5 is a telephoto prime lens with multi-coating for Pentax K cameras.

Under this name it came into the US market. In Europe it went on sale as the Pentax Takumar 135 mm f2.5. (http://kmp.bdimitrov.de/lenses/primes/_non-SMC/tak_135f2.5.html)

The lens build is fully metal with the built-in hood and aperture ring with a one-half-stop f-number scale (covering the whole aperture range).

It is the most low-end lens in the series. It was produced in a bayonet variant with a single-layer coating. Many users say it is too soft wide open, but that is not so. The fact is that this lens is “hood loving". Besides, it is desirable that the hood should be deeper and narrower than its standard counterpart. With the hood  both contrast and sharpness get restored.
