The SLR Magic 35mm f/1.7 is a fast normal lens for Sony E photo and video cameras (e. g. Sony Nex) and  Micro 4/3 cameras.

Initially it was produced for C-mount motion picture cameras. Later on it was redesigned  for modern mirrorless cameras.

The peculiarities of the SLR Magic 35 mm f/ 1

  1. Gradual change of aperture F-numbers (iris aperture). The aperture can be completely shut.
  2. Resolution is considerably low on the edges especially up to f/2.
  3. Interesting and harmonious background and foreground blurring.
  4. The  delivery set includes a small threaded hood.

The  SLR Magic 35 mm f/1.7 is fit for portrait  (drop in resolution can additionally highlight a scene), artistic and effective photography with shallow depth of field.
