Item description
Boxed complete and in excellent optical, mechanical and cosmetic condition. Specifications, reviews and image samples is available from the Dyxum website. I also have my own images posted online taken with this lens with the Alpha A700 and A850, so if you would like to view them, please ask and I'll supply the URL. The box shows signs of wear, but it's fully functional. This model with the external rubberised ribbed finish was the last variant of the lens when it was discontinued. This is by far one of, if not THE best constant aperture tele-zoom lens which produces superb results at all apertures and focal lengths.
It's an ideal lens for fast action such as motorsports and aviation, and the image quality (IQ) is excellent when used with it's matched Sigma 1.4x EX DG APO teleconverter though the AF speed becomes slower when used on a DSLR (I don't use the SLT system so I can't answer any questions relating to it).
This is an A-Mount lens and fits the Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 5D & 7D DSLR, Sony Alpha A100 - A900 DSLR and Sony A33 - A99 SLT. It might work OK with 1 and 2 digit Sony E-Mount camera models with the appropriate adapter (I don't know which one would be correct), so please check first. When used with an APS-C camera model, the equivalent 35mm focal range will be 150mm - 450mm using the 1.5x crop factor when using a full frame lens on an APS-C body. I'll refund the difference if I've over estimated the postage/shipping price, though it'll be sent using a track/trace service (if available in your country), though if you want to arrange your own collection then that's fine with me, but do advise BEFORE making any payment.
The shipping/postage price doesn't include any import duty, fees, taxes and is the base amount to send the lens, so please check what (if any) charges might be applied for importing an item, though no charges apply for buyers within the EU. The price shown is in GBP not USD.
