Strengths:
- Lens picture resembles oil painting. It has _a_ beautiful bokeh.
- Rigid construction, comfortable focusing, especially if there is split-image focusing screen with microprism.
- Lens has a small size and weight.
- It provides beautiful color on photos even by default without any processing.
- Lens is flare-resistant enough.
Weaknesses:
I didn't find any defects. You only need to get accustomed to it and then this lens will make you happy. But sometimes the lens catches sunlight spots if it's used without the hood.
Comments:
This lens is my one of the most liked portrait lenses. Also it is good for fragments and objects shooting that needs the beautiful bokeh. Although in general the bokeh graphics may surprise you! E.g. you can see at the attached to the review pictures: on the first one it seems that the background is paineted and on the second one there is very interesting bleeding of the trees. This lens is too sharp on the closed aperture.
