The Sigma AF 500mm f/4.5 EX DG APO HSM is a super telephoto apochromatic prime lens for digital full format autofocus cameras.
The optical scheme of the lens consists of 12 elements in 9 groups, including two ELD elements. All the optical elements are made of ecologically pure glass with no lead and arsenic.
The system of internal focusing and rotating filter holder in the rear part of the lens barrel enable the use of a polarizer. It is compatible with the Sigma APO EX Tele Converter 1.4x MF and 2x MF without autofocus.
