The Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS is an all-purpose 11x zoom lens (only for APS-C cameras with the EF-S bayonet mount) equipped with a powerful 4-stop optical image stabilizer with automatic panning detection, and with the Super Spectra lens coating for minimizing flare and halation. The optical scheme of the lens includes two high-precision aspherical and two UD elements providing a high-quality image throughout the entire zoom range.
