Additional information:

The Tokina 28-70 mm f/ 3.9-4.8 SZ-X 270-II (model 270-II) is a standard zoom with manual focusing for 35 mm SRL cameras popular in the 1970-80s.

It is lightweight and compact with a short minimum focusing distance.

The lens elements are made of optic glass, made by Hoya, the biggest optic glass manufacturer in the world. The optic elements are multi-coated to eliminate  undesirable rereflections and combat flare (the SD technology of glass production is used, "R" is dropped in the lens name).

Earlier on there had been the first version of the lens manufactured - model 270.
