Additional information:
The Minolta MD ZOOM 35-70 mm f/ 3.5 is zoom lens for small-format SLR Minolta SR cameras. Angle of view: 63º-34º
The lens came in three variants:
-
MD ZOOM Rokkor(-X) (1978-1981)
-
MD ZOOM (1981-1983)
-
MD ZOOM (1983-1997)
The first two variants are just slightly different from each other. The third lens features a 7-blade aperture, a minimum focusing distance of 0.8 m and a macro mode. The lens was manufactured in the period of Minolta's collaboration with Leica, and the latter took advantage of making a replica of the Minolta lens for its own SLR cameras (35-70mm f/3.5 Vario-Elmar-R).
