Owner reviews: Tele Vivitar 135 мм f/ 2.8

Leo Koikov 02.09.2019 03:41:46
Period of use: 1 month

Strengths:

Very good color rendition

Great bokeh

Sharp wide open

Dcent MFD for the lens of earlier vintage

Great build, not heavy

Images give a lot od latrtitude in post-processing

Weaknesses:

A bit glowy in direct sunlight

Preset works "backwards" (in my copy s/n 204728, made by Sun??). If you set it to 4, the aperture varies between 4 and 22. Not between 4 and 2.8 as with other lenses...

Comments:

My copy (presumably not made by Tokina) has the max aperture 22, not 16

Got it for 25 in a pawn shop, my guess they would go for ~100 on EB
