The Minolta AF 24-105 mm f/ 3.5-4.5 D lens is a modification of the Minolta 24-85, including 3 new aspherical lenses. It is a good choice as a travel zoom lens.
Pros: very fast focusing, accurate color rendering, compact size, good sharpness from 35 to 50 mm and at f/5.6.
Cons: distortion at 24 mm, sharp at 70-105 mm only after stopping down to f/6.3, inaccurate AF at 105 mm, average bokeh.
