The Canon EF 24-70mm f/4 L IS USM is a full-format standard zoom lens for Canon EF DSLR cameras. This L-series professional lens features a constant maximum aperture throughout the entire zoom range.
Its optical formula comprises 15 elements in 12 groups, including two aspherical and two UD elements.
Closest focusing distance is 38 cm throughout the entire zoom range. Macro mode is available thanks to the Macro Mode Switch. With up to 0.7x magnification, it is easily accessible with a one-touch switch at the 70mm telephoto end of the zoom range.
