The Canon EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM is a super telephoto prime lens for 35 mm SLR Canon EF cameras.
This is a powerful professional lens designed for shooting sporting events, as well as birds and animals in wild nature. Its optical scheme includes two fluorite elements and two low-dispersion glass elements. The lens also features a dust- and water-proof body, made of magnesium, a 4-stop image stabilizer, and a ring USM. Minimum focusing distance - 6 m.
The lens has a dedicated rotating tripod collar. Canon EF1.4x II Extender increases the focal length to 1120 mm (F8) with autofocus available (on EOS professional cameras). The lens is also compatible with EF2x II Extender increasing the focal length up to 1600 mm (only manual focus available)
