The Rollei Planar 50mm f/1.8 is a fast normal prime lens for 35 mm SLR Rollei cameras.

This is the exact copy of the Carl Zeiss Planar 50/1.8. It was manufactured under the license agreement at Rollei works in Brunswick and Singapore. In mid-1974 the lens was replaced with the multicoated Rollei HFT Planar 50/1.8.

The lens was also available in QBM I modification with A/M aperture mode selector.
