The Canon FDn 200mm f2.8 (1) is a multi-coated telephoto prime lens for 35 mm Canon FD cameras equipped with the new bayonet mount. There were two versions with the same name, but considerably different in the optical scheme and focusing.
This is the 1st version of 1979 with helicoid focusing and 5/5 optical design. In October 1982 the 2nd version was introduced. This lens employed a different 7/6 optical design and internal focusing system.
