The Canon EF 50-200mm f/3.5-4.5 is a telephoto zoom lens for 35 mm SLR cameras Canon EF.
One of the first EF zoom lenses was announced in 1987 and was in production for 2 or 3 years. Half a year later the analogous L-version was introduced. That version employed a different optical scheme - 16 elements in 14 groups.
The lens has a push-pull zoom design. The front element does not rotate. The lens features an Arc Form Drive micro motor and an electromagnetic diaphragm. Full time Manual focusing is not possible.
