The Nikon AF Nikkor 70-210 mm f/ 4-5.6 is a telephoto zoom lens for 35 mm Nikon F SLR cameras
The lens body is generally made from metal. Only zoom and aperture rings are plastic.
Macro mode scale 1:4.
It is a revised 70-210mm f4 remake. The first difference striking the eye is smaller weight and dimensions. The explanation is simple - variable aperture, distinctive feature of all budget lenses.
Optical quality of this new version is inferior to the original lens. ("Nikon, what are you? Part III" by Bakst, Bazhan)
However, the lens is considered to be successful by Nikon fans.
