Additional information:
The Meyer-Optik Görlitz Diaplan 3.5/140 is a projector lens.

It was used in projectors like FILIUS, ASPECTAR or PENTACON ASPECTOMAT J24B for examble. The Diaplan has a connection diameter of 52.5mm .
Later versions of this lens called PENTACON AV 3.5/140 (see picture five).

The weight and length incl. helicoid is 345gr. and 91mm.
The helicoid tubus has a screw mount of 58x1mm at its end to screw into the projektor. This mount can be used to
adapt to a camera. The image distance of the Diaplan 3.5/140 about 123.5mm . One possible way to adapt it is shown in picture six on left side: step Down Ring Ø62 to Ø58 (the step down ring can only be screwed halfway onto the helicoid due to the different thread pitch), step Down Ring Ø58 to Ø55, Reverse Ring Ø55 to M42 mount and M42 Macro Rings with a total of 30mm. In this way, focusing to infinity is possible.

The Diaplan 3.5/140 has no filter mount. I glued a step up ring Ø43 to Ø55 on the front to be able to use a sun shade, also shown in picture six.
