The MC Rubinar 500 mm f/ 8.0 is a mirror multicoated lens. It can be used as an interchangeable lens on modern cameras by means of M42 adapter rings.

The lens is analogous to 3М-5СА 500 mm f/ 8.0. The MC Rubinar 500 mm f/ 8.0 delivers higher resolution(50 against 40 lpmm at the center). It features a lower weight and modified design.

The MC Rubinar 500 mm f/ 8.0 lens is manufactured at the Lytkarino Optic Glass Plant (LZOS).
