The MC Rubinar 500 mm f/ 5.6 is a mirror multicoated lens. It can be used as an interchangeable lens on modern cameras by means of M42 adapter rings.

The lens is different from MC Rubinar 500 mm f/ 8.0 in larger aperture ratio, greater weight and dimensions.

The MC Rubinar 500 mm f/ 5.6 lens is manufactured at the Laktyrino Optic Glass Plant (LZOS).
