Additional information:
The Nikon Nikkor-C 80-200 mm f/ 4.5 is a telephoto zoom lens with constant lens speed for 35 mm SLR Nikon F cameras.
From the book "Non-autofocus Nikkor Lenses", 2004, B. Bakst, I. Bazhan
"The lens is very light and compact (remember to make allowance for uniqueness of these pioneers). Strange though it may seem, zooming does not cause defocusing. The lens features a push-pull design. It has already adopted the design of modern zoom lenses that retain focusing while zooming. Besides, it provides working aperture constancy at all focus variants. All versions of the 80-200mm f/4.5 are perfectly sharp even when wide open. It is not recommended to use the lens with teleconverters, as this may cause problems at the borders of the image. The first version (without multicoating) was later replaced with the multicoated lens. The last modification features slightly better color rendering."
